HMRC Making Tax Digital

From April 2019, business owners above the VAT threshold of £85k will need to file VAT returns online using HMRC compatible software such as mtdCharm.

mtdCharm from h2a Computers is fully authorised bridging software that has passed the HMRC testing and is an HMRC recognised MTD VAT application.

This website provides all the bridging software necessary to allow VAT returns to be sent using the HMRC Making Tax Digital interface. The software can be linked to your internal accounting software via an API call or VAT returns can be submitted by dragging and dropping a suitable formatted file onto the website.

To sign up your business to MTD visit https://www.gov.uk/guidance/making-tax-digital-for-vat, if you are prompted for the software you will be using select 'h2a Computers'.
